Monthly Art & Justice tours of the Constitutional Court Art Collection have resumed

The Constitutional Court Trust, custodian of the Constitutional Court Art Collection (CCAC), is happy to announce that its monthly Art & Justice tours have resumed following a period of intensive maintenance work on the Constitutional Court building.

Tours of the Constitutional Court Art Collection are presented by the curatorial team on the last Saturday of every month, from 09:30 to 11:00.

Artworks on show in the public gallery are explored, whilst tour goers are also treated with rare access to some private areas and gardens of the Court – showcasing more of the art and perspectives on the renowned collection and architecture of the Constitutional Court.

A limited amount of 10 places are available for each tour. Bookings are essential.

Bookings are now open for 25 May, 29 June, 27 July, 31 August, 28 September, 26 October and 30 November 2019.

The tours are presented free of charge, although online, anonymous donations to the CCAC endowment fund are encouraged and appreciated. To donate, please visit

The tour commences at the main entrance of the Constitutional Court at 1 Hospital Street, Constitution Hill, Braamfontein. Underground parking is available at the Constitution Hill precinct at a cost of R30 per vehicle. The Court is generally wheelchair friendly, although persons with disabilities are kindly requested to reach out beforehand.
